Jeff Miller grew up in Appalachia where the beards and the mountains are as big and long as the shadows throughout the hollers. He was heavily involved in the diy hardcore scene, attending shows in punk houses and getting into fights before this humble biographer even knew what the phrase diy even meant. When he was a teenager, he cultivated an interest in poetry to try and win the hearts of girls. But then he fell in love with the form and realized something important which is that getting girls is not that important. He introduced me to the word "eschatology", and I knew it was love. He majored in Philosophy at WVU, and is now a barista at Seattle Coffee Works, a local roastery in Seattle, Washington, near the Pike Place Market.
